DC United Tickets: Oct. 22

Attention Soccer Fans: The PTA has scored a block of tickets to the last DC United game to be played in RFK – on Sunday, Oct 22 at 4pm.  Tickets are just $20 each (at the gate would be more… if you could even get them!), so get them before they’re gone!  We’re renting a bus for those who do not want to have to drive or metro to the stadium.  Bus passes are only $12 each. Fairfax County School Board Special Election: Please Vote!

Please vote in the upcoming Fairfax County School Board SPECIAL ELECTION One At-Large seat on the Fairfax County School Board has come open due to the recent resignation of School Board At-Large Member Jeanette Hough. At-Large Members represent everyone. A Special Election will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 to fill this seat. Please be reminded that schools will be in session on this day. Spring Book Fair – Buy One, Get One Free

The Second Quarter Honor Roll celebration will be held during all lunches on Friday, 28 April. PTA awarded a grant to the Glasgow Counseling Team to provide gift cards for Honor Roll students. Now, they would love your help to ensure all Honor Roll students have a chance to participate in this gift card giveaway. After School STEM Club Partners with George Mason STEM Camp Students in Glasgow’s STEM Impressionists after school club are partnering with George Mason University STEM Accelerator Program and Girls Inspired and Ready to Lead, Inc. to deliver a student-created summer school seminar for the participants of the Females of Color and those Underrepresented in STEM (F.O.C.U.S.) summer STEM camp for girls.
