Glasgow is 1 of 3 schools selected as live interview site for Q&A with a NASA engineer! It all happens on Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day next week 23 February. NASA’s Digital Learning Network will host 30-minute events on every hour starting at 9am EST to highlight women in engineering at NASA. Our interview happens at 3pm ET – Ali Luna, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Program Director, Ames Research Center After the event, all of the videos will be available on the National Engineering Google Classroom for girls that are unable to attend. HARLEM WIZARDS COMING TO FALLS CHURCH The Wizards Combine Awe-Inspiring Basketball Skills and Hilarious Comedy in an Event for the Whole Family What: On Thursday, February 9, the world-famous Harlem Wizards will put on a fun-filled, laugh-a-minute show for the whole family at J.E.B Stuart High School in Falls Church. Glasgow PTA Open Campus Activities – February 2017 The second Open Campus of the year will be held on February 14-16 2017. This is a quarterly event that fosters a caring community and inclusively celebrates successful behavior. It works in conjunction with our PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Support) program and provides students with the opportunity to attend an activity of their choice for an afternoon, hosted by a teacher or community member. Once again, we are facing a significant budget gap. The proposed cuts have a disproportionately negative impact for Glasgow and other Mason District schools.
