Glasgow PTA Open Campus Activities – February 2017 The second Open Campus of the year will be held on February 14-16 2017. This is a quarterly event that fosters a caring community and inclusively celebrates successful behavior. It works in conjunction with our PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Support) program and provides students with the opportunity to attend an activity of their choice for an afternoon, hosted by a teacher or community member. How to Get Involved in the Budget Conversation

Once again, we are facing a significant budget gap. The proposed cuts have a disproportionately negative impact for Glasgow and other Mason District schools.  Key issues for Glasgow MS, Stuart Pyramid, and other Mason District Schools: Elimination of needs-based staffing – reduces additional resources provided for Title 1 schools like Glasgow (beyond that provided by the Federal government) Elimination of or reduction in late buses – reduces access to after-school enrichment activities and learning support programs, as well as having a safe, supervised space for students after school Class size increases for all programs (special ed, general ed, and advanced academics) Elimination […]

All you need is a basic understanding of our Glasgow PTA roles and a willingness to make a few phone calls, send emails, and think creatively. The Nominating Committee consists of three PTA members. Come visit our school and work the PBIS Store during Glasgow lunches. We need at least 2 volunteers per session (minimum of 4 per day). If you know your child’s lunch session – you can sign up to volunteer at that time. It is an easy and fun volunteer opportunity.
