Welcome to Glasgow Middle School PTA®

The Glasgow Parent Teacher Association (PTA®) works closely with Glasgow staff, parents, and our pyramid schools to build a cohesive, informed community. Together, we support quality education and enrichment for our children. And best of all, we have fun doing it.

September 23, 2016 Rachael Lubarsky 0

FCCPTA is your partner in serving your school community. Our officers and committee chairs are volunteers who answered the call to provide the very best educational experience for our children. This month your PTA/PTSA officers will receive information about programs that enhance students’ educational experiences, such as Reflections and Spelling Bee. We will continue to provide ways to help convene meaningful parenting discussions, such as the documentaries Screenagers and Under the Gun. We are building on the success of our Best Practices Facebook discussions and will host monthly teleconferences for presidents and officers. Our first urgent priority this fall is […]

Volunteer at the PBIS Panther Store!

September 23, 2016 Rachael Lubarsky 0

Kindness. Commitment. Safety. Our Panthers are busy using those guiding principles each school day. When they get “caught” in the act, a teacher or staff member can reward them with a Panther card. At least once a month, students with Panther cards visit the PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) Panther Store during lunch, and redeem cards for small treats such as candy, toys, books, gift cards and other items. Come volunteer with Ms. Beck and work the PBIS Store during Glasgow lunches. We need at least 2 volunteers per session (minimum of 4 per day). Bonus is if you know your child’s […]

September 10, 2016 Rachael Lubarsky 0

Already made famous by their summer hit, “Books by the Ocean”, our fabulous librarians (Amber Couch and Sarah Allen) are back at Glasgow and rockin’ the library once again! They need your help to keep the library in order – shelve books, straighten the shelves, process new books (stamp them, cover the spines of books) and do random administrative type tasks (helping cut out things for laminating, helping put together information we might need for classes, etc.) Ms. Couch and Ms. Allen would love […]
